New Year Tradition: Pork Chops & SauerkrautPosted: January 1, 2008
This is a traditional New Year’s Day meal. I am not usually a Brand Name consumer, however, there are a few things that I will never skimp on. One of those is Vlasic Sauerkraut. It is the best, in my opinion.
Pork Chops and Sauerkraut
6 Bone-in pork chops
1 jar Vlasic Sauerkraut
Heat olive oil in skillet. Brown chops on each side until caramelized. Drain most of the liquid from the sauerkraut, keeping approx 1/2 cup. Place chops, sauerkraut with remaining liquid in crockpot.
Cook on high till done, approx 2 hours.
